About The Position

A Route Driver is responsible for the operation of a grease collection truck for cooking oil and a fat and bone collection truck for raw material removal from customer locations, returning to our facility in Collinsville, OK. The shift schedule is Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 4:00 pm. This role involves ensuring customer satisfaction through professional service and maintaining company vehicles and records.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Must possess a valid Class A CDL with a Tankers Endorsement.
  • Must be registered on https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.

Responsibilities

  • Pump or load grease containers, ensuring cleanliness and proper securing of containers.
  • Note any damages to containers or corral areas.
  • Properly complete route tickets with customer signatures.
  • Collect and inspect raw material at pickup for foreign or hazardous materials.
  • Maintain an Electronic DOT log.
  • Provide customers with receipts and obtain management signatures.
  • Maintain company vehicle in the cleanest possible manner and operate it in accordance with all regulations.
  • Conduct all safety checks and inspections of the vehicle.
  • Observe all company safety rules and operate the vehicle under state, federal, local regulations and company policy.
  • Complete a daily vehicle condition report.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations by providing quality, professional service.
  • Complete all company required paperwork daily, including route tickets, driver vehicle inspection reports, accident reports, mileage reports, and service forms.
  • Be responsible for the established route as assigned.
  • Attend all safety meetings and potentially serve on the Safety Committee.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
