About The Position

We are seeking secret shopper-route drivers for the BARS program. The BARS program monitors customer compliance of age-restricted sales (tobacco/nicotine products and alcohol) by sending in "Checkers" (ages 21-25) to conduct mock purchases. The goal is to see if employees ask for ID before selling these items. No purchase is necessary. Each route has a set of cards corresponding to its Visits List. If an employee requests ID, the Checker gives them a Green Card; if not, a Red Card is given. Each route has a purchase order with pre-determined hours and mileage, allowing drivers to know their earnings upfront. Routes range from 4 to 9 hours and 100 to 200 miles, paying between $140.00 to $270.00. Drivers can work as many available routes as they wish, provided each route is completed on time, reported the same day, and returned to the office by the next day. Reporting visits can be done via website or phone. Payment is processed after notifying the company of route completion and BARS approval, which takes 24-48 hours.

Requirements

Must be between 21-25 years of age (no exceptions).
Must have a valid, HORIZONTAL driver's license.
Must bring unexpired employment verification documents (e.g., driver's license and social security card/birth certificate, or a Passport, or a Permanent Resident card).

Responsibilities

Conduct mock purchases of age-restricted items (tobacco/nicotine products and alcohol) to check for compliance.
Determine if employees ask for ID before selling age-restricted items.
Distribute Green Cards to employees who request ID and Red Cards to those who do not.
Complete each route in order, within one day.
Report completed visits the same day they are completed.
Return the Visits List and associated cards to the office by the next day.
Notify the company of route completion via phone, email, or text to initiate payment processing.
