About The Position
1-800-GOT-JUNK? is seeking energetic Truck Team Members/Customer Service Representatives for immediate openings in Charlotte. This role involves driving our junk trucks, performing physical labor to remove unwanted items, and providing excellent customer service and sales consultations. The company emphasizes environmental responsibility through recycling and donation efforts, and the role encourages time management skills similar to running one's own business.
Requirements
- Must be 21+ years of age to qualify for commercial insurance underwriting
- Valid non-provisional driver's license (CDL not required)
- Clean driving history for the past 3 years (no points, suspensions, or violations)
- Great attitude, reliability, and goal-driven mindset
- Comfortable lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds repeatedly
Responsibilities
- Driving our Isuzu NPR 17-20 ft 1-800-GOT-JUNK? Truck to customer locations
- Removing unwanted items from customer's property and loading them into the truck
- Providing the ultimate customer experience
- Assessing and quoting customers on the removal of their unwanted items
- Recycling and donating items to keep them out of landfills
- Managing the day effectively, similar to running one's own business
