About The Position

Victory Wine Group, now known as Johnson Brothers Maverick of Texas, is an importer and distributor of fine wines and craft spirits based in Texas. As a Beverage Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for making direct store deliveries to customers, ensuring timely and safe transportation of merchandise. This role requires a commitment to customer satisfaction and adherence to assigned routes and schedules, while working as part of a delivery team to ensure accuracy and safety.

Requirements

Active CDL Class B LICENSE.
High School diploma or equivalent.
At least 2 years of driving experience in the past 5 years.
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record based on State and Company standards.
Must obtain and hold a DOT Med card and remain in DOT compliance as a condition of employment.
Must be able to maintain accurate inventory.
Must be flexible and able to ask questions.
Strong time management and customer service skills.
Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.
Reliable transportation.
Must meet DOT compliance and the requirements of the Driver Safety Manual.
Must have reliable transportation, hold a valid drivers’ license and meet company driving record & automobile insurance requirements.
Must complete and pass a criminal background check and a pre-employment DOT drug screen.
Must obtain and retain a valid DOT Medical Examination Card.

Wine and Spirits warehouse experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients in a safe and timely manner.
Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure completeness and customer satisfaction.
Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling customer complaints.
Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules, with the understanding that routes may change.
Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, and forklifts.
Traveling within established geographic areas as necessary.
Maintaining accurate inventory.
Ensuring compliance with all local and federal state laws and regulations, company policies, and DOT requirements.
