About The Position
NOW Courier is expanding and looking for experienced drivers ready to take the next step into an independent contractor opportunity with consistent local routes and a path to vehicle ownership. This is a great fit for someone who wants steady weekday work, strong earnings, and the ability to grow within a structured, supportive operation. The role involves delivering with clockwork precision by completing all pickups and deliveries on time, navigating routes efficiently using GPS and routing tools, providing professional, reliable customer service at every stop, adapting quickly to route changes, traffic, or delivery challenges, and representing NOW Courier with reliability and professionalism. Deliveries are local routes across Indiana, with drivers returning home daily. The schedule is Monday through Friday with flexible start times, offering consistent, year-round delivery volume and a mix of dock to dock and jobsite deliveries. Earning potential is commission-based with strong weekly potential based on route and volume, and an opportunity to scale earnings with additional availability. NOW Courier offers a vehicle lease program designed to help drivers get started without needing their own vehicle, with lease-to-own opportunities, cargo vans and larger vehicle options depending on route, and late model vehicles that meet safety standards. Limited time incentives may be available.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a smartphone capable of running our driver app
- Hold a valid driver's license
- Commercial insurance coverage with a minimum of $300,000 combined single limit liability
- Successfully pass a comprehensive pre-employment process which includes a Driving History Review (past 36 months), Criminal Background Check, and Substance Abuse (Drug) Screening

- Previous delivery or driving experience preferred
- Ability to lift and handle freight as needed
