About The Position

Come travel from location to location and State to State with K&L Recycling's mobile car crushing crew. The Roustabout is responsible for assisting in the preparation of vehicles for salvage, using mobile crushing equipment.

Requirements

High School Diploma.
Valid Texas Driver's License.
Acceptable MVR Score per Company Auto Policy Carrier.
Minimum 1-5 years of work experience.
Must be willing to travel.
Exceptional time management.
Professional manner and strong ethical code.
Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive.
Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

Pick up and clean up debris in customers' yards.
Wrap crushed vehicles.
Assist truck drivers with securing loads.
Treat all customers, staff, drivers, and the general public with courtesy and respect.
Check all lubricants and fluid levels on all equipment.
Keep equipment clean and in proper working condition.
Keep work area clean, organized, and clutter-free.
Process, package, and/or bale material promptly as per company specifications.
Report all accidents, injuries, or incidents to the recycle center manager immediately.
