About The Position

Team members will monitor, operate, and repair air, water, and refrigeration systems. This role is responsible for all maintenance for TCCS and PBX. The position requires passing a Hazmat physical and participating in the Hazmat team. The team member must be willing to stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, lift, pull, and reach. This position will work in extremely hot and humid or extremely cold environments, both inside and outside the plant. This is a B shift position.

Requirements

Ability to work well with other Departments.
Ability to work any shift as needed.
Good communication skills, both oral and written.
Show adequate progression in the Maintenance training program to achieve level 8 within 3 years of hire.
Candidates with 6 or more attendance points and/or any suspension discipline on file within the last 12 months both at the time of posting will not be considered.
Available to bargaining unit team members only.
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
This position is slated for team members who are currently working at this facility or complex only.
Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner.
Preference given to internal qualified candidates currently employed at this facility then external candidates.
