About The Position

This role involves operating various equipment to produce round tubes according to schedules, production orders, prints, and specifications. The operator will monitor and verify equipment parameters, ensure proper operation of control panels, and assist with process examination, quality documentation, and equipment validations. The position requires efficient computer use for data entry and operation of transportation equipment like cranes and forklifts. The work environment is a non-air-conditioned shop, subject to temperature fluctuations. The role demands teamwork, adaptability to changing job functions, and the ability to work overtime, including weekends, with potentially fluctuating days off. Maintaining production requirements safely and adhering to company policies, EHS, quality, and productivity standards are crucial. The work area must be kept clean and orderly according to 5S standards.

Responsibilities

Work from schedules, production orders, prints and specifications.
Verify parameters of operation of an oven, lubrication machine, coiler and other equipment are within required parameters and customer specifications.
Operation of multiple control panels to ensure proper operation.
Perform or assist with any departmental operations, as required or directed to maintain workflow or respond to emergency conditions.
Assist in the process examination and quality documentation.
Assist in equipment validations, safety and quality audits.
Able to operate a computer efficiently for data entry.
Operation of various transportation equipment (cranes, fork-lift, powered stackers).
Able to work in a non-air-conditioned shop environment.
Able to work in a team environment reacting to production conditions and routinely changing job functions.
Can work overtime including weekends.
Scheduled day off could fluctuate.
Able to keep up with normal production requirements while using proper body mechanics and working in a safe manner.
Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with 5 S standards.
Requires the ability to perform all duties within limitation of the standard methods and procedures, and in accordance with strict adherence to EHS, quality and productivity requirements.
