About The Position

As a Roughneck you will play a vital role in supporting Hydraulic Completion Unit (HCU) operations at the wellsite. The Roughneck position involves hands-on fieldwork and requires extensive travel, typically working 28-day rotations. You must be prepared for physically demanding tasks in extreme and variable weather conditions, ensuring safe and efficient operations on the ground.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience)
  • Minimum of 6 months oil and gas completions experience required.
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check, physical, and produce a negative drug screen.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment physical.
  • Stand, walk, and lift tools for extended periods of time.
  • Lift up to 50lbs – 80lbs.
  • Perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Work in extreme weather conditions.
  • Work scheduled rotations at any location (28/14) including days, evenings, holidays, and weekends

Responsibilities

  • Always maintain 100% fall protection when performing elevated work.
  • Show up on time and fit for duty.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Inspect rigging, tools, and equipment before each shift and as necessary during use.
  • Assist with rigging up and rigging down snubbing units and equipment.
  • Support HCU operations by handling tubing, working with hand tools, and equipment at the wellsite.
  • Perform general maintenance and inspections on equipment and work areas.
  • Perform housekeeping duties around the work area.
  • Operate forklifts, aerial lifts, and other site equipment as required.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including participation in JSAs, hazard assessments, and safety meetings.
  • Work closely with crew members to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Communicate issues and product consumption to supervisors.
  • Mentor new hires and take direction and perform miscellaneous labor tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
