Requirements

Completion of secondary school and graduation from a certified flying or aviation school.
Valid Air Transport Pilot’s Licence (ATPL) (Helicopter) issued by Transport Canada.
A minimum of 2000 hours of Rotary-wing flight experience.
A minimum of 500 hours of experience as a Pilot-In-Command (PIC) of a multi-engine aircraft.
2 years of experience in Instrument Flight Operations.
Valid Group 4 Instrument Rating.
Valid Class 1 Medical.
Ability to successfully complete the Controlled Goods Security Assessment Application for Night Vision Goggle (NVG) purposes.
Valid Canadian Passport or ability to work in Canada and ability to travel to the USA.
A satisfactory criminal record search and Immunization records with required vaccinations.

Nice To Haves

Experience flying multi-engine helicopters is desirable.
Experience using Night Vision Goggles (NVG) and flying for Emergency Medical Service (EMS) or equivalent is desirable.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all aspects of aircraft operation.
Must be able to fly in varying conditions, handle pressure well, and be flexible and adaptable.
Provide flight support at bases other than the home base where demand arises.
Complete the company’s training program and successfully pass a Transport Canada PPC.
Follow all applicable policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
Assist the Second-in-Command (SIC) with flight planning and aircraft preparation as directed by the Pilot-in-Command.
Carry out specific duties in connection with the operation of the aircraft assigned.
