About The Position

The Rotor Technician will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery in department 7 efficiently. This role requires extreme attention to detail and a thorough understanding of work procedures and component applications to produce high-quality parts for the next internal customer. The technician must be able to visually inspect parts, detect defects, and make necessary adjustments according to quality guidelines. Maintaining a clean and orderly work area and complying with company quality and safety guidelines are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Basic Math Skills
  • Ability to read and follow instructions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to wear the required PPE for the position.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate machinery in department 7, including die cast, small rotor final, and spin cast.
  • Visually inspect parts to detect defects and make necessary changes according to quality guidelines.
  • Read a tape measurer.
  • Comply with company quality and safety guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
