About The Position
The essence of this role is to ensure quality plastic rotational molded parts through finishing techniques, such as trimming excess plastic material. In addition to creating a smooth surface on all plastic parts to prevent rough edges on play equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Comfortable standing throughout the shift and bending/stooping while working on parts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Comfortable utilizing handheld, or small power tools.
- Ability to follow standardized work steps to ensure quality remains consistent.
- Works well with others and in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Finish plastic parts using a variety of hand tools to finish edges, drill holes, etc.
- Identify quality problems and can escalate appropriately.
- Ensure accuracy of needed parts and inventory by ensuring proper inspecting and labeling techniques.
