About The Position

RMB Products is seeking an Aerospace Rotational Molding Operator (2nd shift) to support the production of high-quality thermoplastic components in a manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for operating and supporting rotational molding equipment, preparing molds and materials, performing product finishing activities, and ensuring all products meet customer specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Overtime may be required based on business needs. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.

  • Experience operating manufacturing equipment or machinery.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

  • Work is performed on-site in a manufacturing environment.
  • Exposure to heat, moving equipment, sharp edges, and other industrial hazards may occur.
  • Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times.
  • Employees are expected to follow all safety policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Candidates must qualify as a "U.S. Person" as defined by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), 22 CFR 120-130.

Responsibilities

  • Read, understand, and follow work orders, production instructions, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Set up and prepare molds for production by cleaning, installing inserts, and preparing required components.
  • Gather the correct molds, materials, resin, dyes, and other required production materials according to work instructions.
  • Load and unload molds onto rotational molding equipment.
  • Perform trimming, repair, cleaning, and packaging of molded products.
  • Conduct quality inspections and acceptance checks throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Inspect molds before and after production runs and return molds to proper storage locations.
  • Install, remove, and position pins and inserts as required.
  • Monitor production output and identify potential quality concerns, defects, or equipment issues.
  • Maintain equipment readiness by completing daily and weekly preventive maintenance activities.
  • Stage materials and prepare production runs to support efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Complete production documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Follow all RMB safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
