Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred.
  • 2–4+ years of experience in an industrial, mechanical maintenance, or field service role.
  • Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills and hands-on experience with equipment maintenance.
  • Familiarity with precision measuring tools and mechanical assembly.
  • Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Experience using hand and power tools in an industrial setting.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work independently on routine tasks and as part of a team for more complex work.
  • Physical ability to lift equipment, work in various environments, and stand for extended periods.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel for field service work as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to rotating equipment (pumps, motors, compressors, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the installation, alignment, dismantling, and movement of industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on rotating and fixed equipment.
  • Inspect mechanical components for wear, damage, and alignment issues, escalating concerns as needed.
  • Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and support repairs or component replacements.
  • Use hand and power tools to complete maintenance and installation tasks.
  • Work alongside experienced technicians, engineers, and electricians on equipment installations and repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent using CMMS or job tracking systems.
  • Demonstrate the ability to complete routine tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, complying with company and industry safety regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to expand technical skills.
