About The Position
CTG is seeking to fill a Rotating Equipment Planner position for our client. This role involves planning and scheduling maintenance for various types of rotating equipment, developing detailed work plans, and supporting reliability initiatives. The planner will coordinate resources, manage maintenance backlogs, and document work in SAP-PM. The position requires a strong background in heavy industrial maintenance, specifically with rotating equipment, and experience with maintenance planning and scheduling systems.
Requirements
- Rotating equipment maintenance and planning
- SAP-PM Maintenance Transactions and Prometheus
- Pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, gearboxes, and cooling towers
- Preventive/predictive maintenance and vibration analysis
- Maintenance planning, scheduling, backlog management, and BOMs
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- 12 years of heavy industrial maintenance experience; or 7 years with an associate degree; or 4 years with a bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance planning/scheduling experience.
- Millwright experience or vocational/technical certification.
- Experience planning rotating equipment and cooling tower maintenance.
- Ability to obtain a TWIC credential within a reasonable timeframe.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule maintenance for rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines, motors, gearboxes, and cooling towers.
- Develop detailed work plans, job estimates, task lists, Bills of Material (BOMs), work instructions, and safety requirements.
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance, vibration monitoring, lubrication programs, and equipment reliability initiatives.
- Coordinate maintenance resources, contractors, production teams, materials, and spare parts.
- Manage maintenance backlogs and identify recurring equipment issues for reliability engineering.
- Document and close maintenance work in SAP-PM and related systems.
