About The Position

This role is for a Rotary Die Cutter Assistant who will work as part of a team in a manufacturing operation. The primary goals are to increase productivity, decrease downtime, and reduce waste. The assistant will be responsible for leading machine crews in setups and changeovers, which includes mounting printing plates and/or cutting dies. They will also conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required dimensions and have no material defects. Safety is paramount, and the role requires adherence to all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures. The assistant will also be expected to problem-solve issues that arise with the machinery and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and possess problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work any shift (1st, 2nd or 3rd Shifts), including overtime and weekends as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a corrugator industry or other manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity, decreasing downtime and waste.
