About The Position

A fully qualified, experienced rope access technician capable of working independently, rigging systems, mentoring Level I technicians, and performing complex tasks under a Level III’s oversight.

Requirements

IRATA Level II or SPRAT Level II certification
1–3+ years rope access experience
High School Diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license
Level I, II or Level III Rope Certification through SPRAT or IRATA
Intermediate mechanical knowledge
Knowledge of, and willingness to follow and lead others to follow applicable safety regulations, policies, and procedures
Active Listening skills
Able to work a demanding and flexible schedule, including long periods of time (up to 16-hour days), respond to callouts on short notice, and stay on site for extended periods
Able to frequently lift and carry objects up to 75 pounds on loose, rough or uneven terrain
Able to occasionally exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 150 pounds with assistance
Ability to climb and work at heights, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, handle, stand for long periods, walk, push, pull, repetitive motion, work in confined spaces, work in extreme cold and heat
Visual acuity, including ability to see details at close range (within 20 inches), clarity of vision at 20 feet or more, and ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to right or to left while eyes are fixed on a given point

Confined space certifications
Expertise in multiple NDT methods and willingness to engage in ongoing learning and application of skills
