About The Position

Acuren is seeking experienced Rope Access Technicians III / Supervisors /Project Managers to support our operations through callout assignments at customer sites throughout the U.S. Northwest Region. These roles will provide specialized technical expertise, field supervision, and project management to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of customer projects. Candidates should be prepared to travel and respond to project needs across the West region as required. The Rope Access Technicians III / Supervisors /Project Managers are responsible for managing the safety of crews engaged in rope access activities, to organize work functions specific to rope access jobs, and to supervise crews engaged in performing a broad range of technical and/or industrial services at heights. The role ensures individual and organizational compliance with IRATA standards and regulations to ensure the safe and effective performance of work.

Requirements

  • IRATA Level 3 Certification required
  • A thorough understanding of applicable rope access applications, and comprehensive knowledge of theory, equipment and rigging, maneuvers, climbing and hauling and advanced rescue techniques
  • A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience as an IRATA Level 3 Rope Access Technician working within a variety of industrial environments.
  • Certified NDT (ANY LEVEL)
  • Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
  • Knowledge of NDT equipment
  • Current first aid certification
  • Ability to work effectively within a diverse team
  • Ability to work productively in a variety of adverse conditions
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference will be given to candidates with an NDT and/or mechanical trades certifications (NACE,NCCER, etc.)
  • Experience in report writing preferred
  • NACE or NCCER certified preferred
  • A valid drivers' license is preferred
  • Local candidates in the Commerce City / Denver, Colorado or US Northwest are preferred.

  • Perform specific job functions as they relate to work orders
  • Be conversant with relevant work techniques
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques
  • Be able to demonstrate all the skills and knowledge required of level III
  • Assist other technicians as required
  • Ensure operational safety of all equipment
