Requirements

  • At least two years of progressive experience in Housekeeping.
  • Detail-oriented and dependable.
  • Strong understanding of cleanliness and guest service standards.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to maintain high standards and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Sound judgment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
  • Consistently follow all hotel safety and security procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience as a Rooms Inspector or Housekeeping Supervisor.
  • Basic knowledge of Opera.
  • Previous supervisory responsibility.
  • Hospitality industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily inspections and provide accurate reporting of all areas cleaned by the Housekeeping Department, including guest rooms and public areas.
  • Ensure all assigned areas are clean, properly maintained, well-stocked, and in compliance with hotel standards.
  • Inspect guest rooms and public spaces.
  • Examine carpets, drapes, and furniture for stains, damage, or wear, and report any concerns to Housekeeping leadership.
  • Check and count linens and supplies according to hotel standards.
  • Complete inspection checklists and housekeeping reports.
  • Notify the Engineering Department of any repairs or maintenance issues.
  • Identify training opportunities and provide guidance and direction to Room Attendants on cleanliness and quality standards.
  • Assist with cleaning duties and other departmental responsibilities as needed.
