About The Position

The Rooms Division Manager leads Front Desk, Housekeeping, and In-Room Maintenance to drive exceptional guest experiences, efficient operations, and strong financial results. Reporting to the General Manager, this role shapes service culture, upholds brand and safety standards, and ensures smooth day-to-day performance across the property.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of hotel operations experience with supervisory or management responsibilities
  • Strong understanding of hotel front office and housekeeping operations
  • Proficiency in property management systems
  • English/Spanish bilingual communication skills (written and verbal preferred)
  • Previous experience managing a team through motivation, coaching and development
  • The ability to anticipate customer needs, change goals and direction quickly and multitask
  • Proven comfort and experience to interact effectively with all levels of management, guests, associates, and homeowners, both inside and outside of the organization
  • Activator/self-motivated to accomplish goals, with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Proficiency with general office PC applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, databases)
  • Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members
  • Proven job reliability, diligence, dedication, and attention to detail
  • Teamwork and collaboration

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations for Front Desk, Housekeeping, and In-Room Maintenance to ensure exceptional service, efficient workflows, and brand-standard quality across all guest areas
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Accounting, Sales, Revenue, and Condo Services) to support property performance and revenue goals
  • Oversee Rooms Division financials, including budgeting, forecasting, payroll, labor optimization, and expense control
  • Address guest and owner concerns with urgency and professionalism; monitor feedback and implement service improvements
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop Rooms Division teams; support engagement, accountability, and performance excellence
  • Manage scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll processing using property systems and Paycom
  • Ensure compliance with brand standards, policies, and safety regulations, including OSHA and emergency response procedures
  • Leverage property management systems and reporting tools for forecasting, budgeting, and operational decision-making
  • Maintain inventory levels and supply controls, anticipating business needs and managing requisitions
  • Other duties as assigned
