About The Position

Responsible for providing Food and Beverage service in the guest rooms or gardens.

Requirements

• Must be able to apply food and beverage handling rules.
• Must be able to follow proper wine service procedure.
• Must be able to prepare accurate checks and follow cashiering procedures.
• Must be able to keep the room service area clean at all times.
• Must be able to maintain guest satisfaction as top priority.
• Must be able to follow and work according to the standard operating procedures of room service.
• Must be able to train and motivate staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers F&B items on trays according to set standards.
• Greets guests in rooms and on the phone according to standards.
• Applies food and beverage handling rules.
• Brings wine selections to the room with appropriate glasses, following proper wine service procedure.
• Constantly walks the hallways to pick up dirty trays.
• Delivers amenities as arranged by guest service.
• Prepares accurate checks and follows cashiering procedures.
• Brews fresh coffee and tea.
• Fills salt & pepper, sugar bowls, creamers, folds napkins, and polishes silverware.
• Organizes trays with proper setup.
• Restocks the service counter with items such as straws, glasses, cups, and condiments.
• Polishes glasses, silverware, and trays whenever needed.
• Completely understands and follows department and hotel standards.
• Takes responsibility to keep the room service area clean at all times.
• Retrieves food items from the kitchen and beverages from the fridge or lounge bar.
• Collects dirty items and brings them to the dishwasher.
• Maintains guest satisfaction as top priority.
• Follows and works according to the standard operating procedures of room service.
• Takes the initiative to serve guests even if they are sitting in the gardens.
• Responsible, along with the manager, to train and motivate staff.
• Performs other tasks as required.
