Room Service Representative
About The Position
Under the direction of the Restaurant Chef, the incumbent receives and processes all room service orders. This position requires a High School diploma or GED equivalent, as well as six (6) months to one (1) year of related experience. The role demands refined speaking and listening skills, proficiency with department-specific computer programs, and the ability to read and write short memos. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division) as they apply to job functions. The position involves prolonged periods of sitting or standing, writing, and keyboarding. The work environment is a kitchen area which can be hectic, hot, loud, and sometimes crowded and noisy.
Requirements
