About The Position

This position involves taking room service orders over the phone, answering questions about menu selections, and coordinating with kitchen staff. The role also requires answering guest inquiries regarding wine origin, vintage, and style, logging call-backs for room service orders, and notifying guests and management of any service delays. Additionally, the Room Service Operator will communicate special meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and requests to the kitchen, maintain the cleanliness of work areas, and record transactions in the MICROS system. The role also includes completing closing reports, processing payments, and adhering to all company policies regarding safety, security, and guest service standards. This includes maintaining a professional appearance, protecting company assets, and developing positive working relationships with team members.

Requirements
