About The Position

As a Room Service Attendant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional in-room dining experiences for guests staying at our hotel. You will be responsible for delivering food and beverage orders to guest rooms promptly and courteously, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction.   • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role or in the hospitality industry is preferred but not required. We welcome candidates with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.

Responsibilities

  • Order Delivery: Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms in a timely and professional manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are maintained.
  • Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the room service menu offerings, including food options, beverage selections, and special promotions.
  • Guest Interaction: Interact with guests in a friendly and courteous manner while delivering orders, addressing any questions or concerns they may have, and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Order Taking: Take room service orders over the phone or through the hotel's ordering system, accurately recording guest preferences and special requests.
  • Up-selling: Utilize suggestive selling techniques to promote additional menu items or special offerings to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
  • Service Setup: Set up trays and dining utensils in guest rooms, ensuring all necessary items are provided for a complete dining experience.
  • Order Accuracy: Double-check orders before delivery to ensure accuracy and completeness, and verify any special dietary requirements or allergy information provided by guests.
  • Payment Processing: Process payment for room service orders, including cash, credit card, or room charge transactions, following established procedures.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service area, including storage areas, service carts, and equipment, following sanitation and safety standards.
