The Room Service Associate is responsible for serving meals to patients in a professional and efficient manner. This role involves instructing patients on the meal ordering system, assisting them with placing orders within their physician-prescribed diet limitations, and assessing their ability to use the system. The associate will also provide basic information about physician-prescribed diets and alert the Clinical Dietitian or Nurse if further education or assessment is needed. This position serves as the primary representative of the Food and Nutrition Services Department on patient floors.
