In Room Dining Server | Playa Largo Resort & Spa
About The Position
The Room Dining Server is responsible for delivering food and beverage orders to guest rooms according to hotel specifications, courteously and efficiently. This role also assists in the maintenance of the Room Service area and equipment. The server ensures compliance with and completion of all daily operational procedures by the Food and Beverage Department, maintaining food and beverage safety and quality based on hotel, Shaner, and Franchise specifications. They also ensure communication with the General Manager, all other Department Managers, Supervisors, and Staff. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in a similar position dealing with the public.
- State minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
- ServSafe and/or food safety training.
- Alcohol awareness training (such as TIPS).
Nice To Haves
- Some college preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
