About The Position
Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Room Attendant to join our team! This is a full-time position with a day shift starting at 8 am on weekdays and 9 am on weekends. The role requires willingness to work weekends and holidays, with Sundays being mandatory. The Room Attendant will be responsible for ensuring rooms and public areas are cleaned and sanitized to company standards, maintaining linen and towel freshness, and adhering to all safety and security procedures. Additionally, the position involves understanding hotel property and services, stocking guest rooms, and managing lost and found items. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Ability to multi-task
- Must be able to stand majority of shift, bend, push, and/or lift up to 25-35 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Team player
- Ability to exceed expectations of guests
- Knowledge of cleanliness standards
Nice To Haves
- Hotel experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Ensure that rooms and public areas are cleaned and sanitized to company-mandated standards
- Ensures that rooms have clean linen, bedding and towels
- Understands and follows all safety and security procedures as mandated by the hotel
- Maintain knowledge of hotel property, hotel staff, hotel services, hotel service hours of operation, and hotel surroundings (i.e. mall, restaurants)
- Ensures that rooms are stocked with soap, tissues, drinking glasses, etc.
- Identify items that guests have left behind and report items utilizing hotel's lost and found procedures
- Other duties as assigned
