Room Attendant - Wine Valley Inn, Solvang
About The Position
The Wine Valley Inn in Solvang is looking to hire a part-time Room Attendant, weekends included. The ideal candidate will clean rooms at our unique boutique busy property in Solvang. The cleanliness of the guestroom is a key to meeting our hotel quality and guest standards. Thus, attention to every job detail is very important to the success of the hotel and achieving and exceeding job performance requirements. The Room Attendant cleans guest rooms by stripping beds and bathroom of dirty linen, dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing bathroom, changing linens, replacing amenities, etc. The Room Attendant reports anything in the guest room that needs repair and/or replacement. The Room Attendant is helpful and friendly to guests. The Room Attendant turns in any found item left by guest to Executive Housekeeper or front desk as soon as possible. This position is required work weekends and holidays during your regular scheduled days.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is constantly (6-8 hours a day) required to stand, walk, bend, use hand to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally (2-4 hours a day) required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently (5-7 hours a day) lift and move up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vison, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Employee must have the ability to reach frequently (5-7 hours/day) above shoulder height to clean and replace items. The employee must be able to push up to 100 pounds intermittently (cart).
