About The Position

A hotel housekeeping room attendant is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and restocking guest rooms and common areas to ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests.

Ability to lift, bend, stand for long periods, and push loaded carts

Responsibilities

Clean guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing bathrooms.
Remove trash, clean mirrors, windows, and surfaces, and ensure all amenities such as toiletries, towels, and refreshments are replenished.
Perform a full reset for check-out rooms, including stripping used linens, checking for left-behind items, and deep cleaning the bathroom.
Respond to guest requests, provide additional supplies, and maintain a courteous and professional demeanor.
Greet guests in hallways or common areas and assist with inquiries, contributing to overall guest satisfaction.
Manage cleaning carts, keeping linens, towels, cleaning chemicals, and amenities organized for efficiency and safety.
Check room inventories and report shortages or maintenance issues to supervisors.
Clean lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other public spaces to maintain a clean and inviting hotel environment.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages in rooms and public areas.
Follow hotel safety protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and ensuring carts do not block emergency exits.
Perform laundry duties, including washing, ironing, and folding linens.
