HOTEL SANTA BARBARA Charming and historic boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara situated a half-mile from the beach and Stearns Wharf and a block from the Paseo Nuevo outdoor shopping center. YOUR ROLE IN CREATING GERONIMOMENTS In this role, you’ll be a key part of our team, ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting impression. Your voice matters here—use it to build the future, make an impact, and continuously improve the guest experience. As the Room Attendant, you will ensure the cleanliness of the hotel's guest rooms and public spaces. You will have constant interactions with guests and will need to maintain positive guest interactions. The Room Attendant's role is an important one as you will contribute to the unique experience for each of our guests, every day. WHAT YOUR DAY WILL LOOK LIKE Acknowledge and greet guests in public spaces with a warm, friendly greeting Review daily inventory of rooms, arrivals, and departures Review daily inventory of supplies needed to complete the assignments for the day Clean guest rooms including dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen area, lobby, and common areas Perform quality cleaning to meet required standards within set time limits Pick up ground litter around hotel or whatever visible May perform similar duties as requested by team leader GHG24 JOIN A TEAM THAT MAKES AN IMPRESSION At Geronimo Hospitality Group, we are cool people who work hard . Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior housekeeping and customer service experience
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Regularly able to stand, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms
  • Able to walk frequently
  • Frequently able to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear, and taste or smell
  • Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
