About The Position

The Room Attendant plays a vital role in delivering WS Management's Outrageous Hospitality by creating clean, safe, comfortable, and inviting guest rooms. This role is essential to guest satisfaction and directly reflects WS values-Integrity, Respect for All, Empowerment, Kindness, Creativity, & Results Orientation. Room Attendants support the Three P Philosophy (People, Profit & Planet) by ensuring rooms are spotless, well-maintained, and prepared efficiently while minimizing waste and preserving assets. This is one of the most guest-impacting positions in the hotel and must consistently uphold brand cleanliness standard.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Outrageous Hospitality by providing a welcoming presence, responding to guest requests with urgency and positivity, demonstrating fairness, kindness, and professionalism, protecting guest privacy and security, and resolving concerns quickly.
  • Make Everything Sparkle by cleaning and servicing guest rooms according to brand and WS standards, following the ABC Rule (Always Be Cleaning), ensuring all linens, surfaces, bathrooms, amenities, fixtures, and floors meet brand quality, restocking amenities, and reporting maintenance issues immediately.
  • Follow Brand & WS Standards by using proper cleaning techniques, safe chemical handling, and labeling, following established room assignment procedures, timing expectations, and checklists, and ensuring carts, linen closets, and equipment are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
  • Ensure Safety, Security & Asset Protection by following OSHA, brand, and WS safety guidelines, maintaining secure handling of master keys and guest belongings, reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, or injuries immediately, and caring for hotel equipment and tools with consistently safe handling.
  • Engage in Teamwork, Communication & Collaboration by communicating room status updates clearly, working collaboratively with Housekeeping Supervisors, Front Desk, and Maintenance teams, assisting fellow associates when needed, and maintaining cleanliness of employee shared spaces.
