About The Position

The Clift Royal Sonesta Hotel is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. The Room Attendant plays an essential role in creating a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for every guest while maintaining the hotel’s high standards of service and presentation.

Requirements

Previous hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning experience is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and complete assignments within established timeframes.
Ability to communicate professionally with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.
Ability to understand and follow safety instructions and hotel procedures.

Responsibilities

Clean and prepare guest rooms in accordance with hotel standards and established productivity requirements.
Make beds, change linens, dust furniture, vacuum carpets, and clean bathrooms.
Replenish towels, linens, toiletries, and other guest-room supplies.
Report damaged items, safety hazards, maintenance needs, and unusual room conditions promptly.
Respond courteously and professionally to reasonable guest requests.
Maintain the security of assigned keys and follow all key-control procedures.
Properly handle lost-and-found items in accordance with hotel policy.
Stock, organize, and maintain housekeeping carts and assigned work areas.
Follow safety, sanitation, chemical-handling, and infection-prevention procedures.
Work collaboratively with Housekeeping leadership and other hotel departments.
Perform other job-related duties consistent with the position and the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
