About The Position

As a Room Attendant, you will ensure that our rooms and suites are always fresh and welcoming for our guests. You will create a haven for them to escape and relax in, or get some last-minute work done. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas, contributing to an overall exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

Physical fitness, as the role requires being on your feet most of the day.
Strength to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and/or push/pull heavy objects.
Ability to bend and kneel to complete activities.
Literacy skills including reading, writing, and basic math.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Ensure rooms and suites are clean, well-maintained, and presented to a high standard.
Assist guests with requests such as providing amenities or directions.
Update supervisor on room service progress and report any maintenance needs.
Follow established safety procedures and wear protective equipment when necessary.
Manage supplies and amenities, minimizing waste.
Log and turn in lost and found items according to procedures.
Maintain a professional appearance by wearing the uniform.
Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
Monitor and control supplies and amenities, and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping.
Report, turn in, and/or log all lost and found items according to established procedures.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service.
Assist with deep cleaning projects.
Perform turndown duties.
Assist with other duties as assigned.
