Room Attendant - Housekeeping
About The Position
The Room Attendant is responsible for ensuring clean rooms under the supervision of the Housekeeping Manager and Supervisors. Essential duties include servicing guest rooms using cleaning agents and equipment to ensure adherence to department policies, removing and replacing soiled linens, preparing rooms for guest arrivals, organizing and replenishing guest room amenities, maintaining a clean and orderly cart with adequate supplies, and maintaining a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment. The role also involves promoting positive guest relations at all times. Duties are typically performed in hotel rooms, but may require presence on the Casino Floor, where exposure to second-hand smoke and excessive noise may occur.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Basic computer experience is preferred
- Must possess basic mathematical skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Must be attentive to detail
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English
Nice To Haves
- Previous hotel cleaning experience is preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
