We are seeking a Room Attendant for the SpringHill Suites in Mt Laurel, NJ, to uphold our high standards of cleanliness and service. This role involves ensuring guest rooms and common areas are impeccably cleaned and maintained, contributing to outstanding guest experiences. Responsibilities may span various housekeeping functions, including laundry, common area upkeep, and guest room cleaning. This is a part-time, weekends-only position with a specific schedule and a weekend shift premium.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or general equivalent (GED) preferred
- The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20lbs
- The ability to work in both a team environment and independently
- The ability to support any property owned by High Hotels, Ltd. in the Lancaster, PA area
- Availability to work weekends and holidays is required
Responsibilities
- Cleaning the guest rooms and common areas according to brand standards in the allotted amount of time
- Vacuuming carpet and furniture
- Cleaning and dusting furniture
- Cleaning kitchenettes and washing the dishes in suites
- Changing bed linens
- Cleaning the guest room bathroom
- Cleaning high touch areas of the hotel to meet brand standards
- Assisting in the laundry room: washing, drying, folding, and sorting laundry
- Maintaining the linen cart and ensuring supplies are neatly organized
- Ensuring the security of guest rooms and privacy of guests
