About The Position

S&L Hospitality is currently accepting applications for a Room Attendant / Hotel Housekeeper. Ideal candidates will be able to work primarily 1st shift, preferably between the hours of 8am and 5pm and have weekend availability, prior relative experience, highly-motivated, reliable, detail oriented, and a passion for working with people. Requirements

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, more than 20 lbs. often housekeeper carts can weigh more than 30 lbs. or more to push, pull.
  • Ability to stand for long period of time and perform repetitive motions.
  • Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
  • Detail-orientated individual who is able to focus his/her cleaning responsibilities, ensuring that each room set up is completed as required by the property.
  • Ability to maintain a composed, gracious and professional attitude.
  • Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Replenish items in rooms for guest use, including but not limited to towels, linens, and amenities.
  • Accommodate and anticipate guests needs, respond promptly and professionally.
  • Thoroughly clean the guest room and bathroom area as assigned, (i.e. vacuuming, dusting, changing bed linen, emptying trash cans).
  • Report any maintenance needs or items left behind from the guest to the appropriate department.
  • Become familiar and knowledgeable with the hotel's safety and emergency procedures.
  • Meet hotel and company standards of cleanliness.
