About The Position

The Room Attendant Driver is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness in guest units by replacing linens and towels, cleaning kitchen and bathroom areas. Miscellaneous tasks such as picking up trash from guest room and taking it to the dumpster. They may also be required to lift, carry, push, pull laundry/laundry carts, etc. Able to lift 75 pounds.

Requirements

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Valid Missouri Driver’s License
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
Ongoing verification of driving eligibility will be conducted to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards
Basic knowledge of housekeeping department duties
Familiarity with computer software word processing, database and spreadsheet (especially Excel) is essential
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
The ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction
Must be detailed oriented
Need strong clerical, organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

Maintaining and turning guest units (50%)
Driving a company vehicle (30%)
Responding to guests calls and supplying them with their requested needs, such extra amenities and linen (15%)
Other duties as assigned (5%)
