About The Position

This position will be for The Rux at Cambria Nashville Midtown. Responsible for the prompt, courteous service to restaurant guests; serving food and drink as well as maintaining the cleanliness of the dining room. The Rux offers an elevated experience (and not just because we’re on the roof) with a healthy dose of southern sensibility. Here, refined meets unwind in a way that makes each visit feel special without getting stuffy. The Rux is a gorgeous, special occasion-worthy escape, even when that special occasion is “it’s Tuesday.” Feeling at home even while you’re being a little fancy is our sweet spot. This approachability coupled with an appreciation for the finer things is what sets us apart. We’re sneakers with a slip dress. Fried chicken and a French 75. Stylish? Extremely. Pretentious? Never.

Requirements

2-4 years of food service experience
Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities

Take and serve food and beverage orders.
Record all sales using the appropriate POS system and follow all cash handling procedures. All guest payments are processed according to established procedures.
Ensure alcohol awareness procedures are in place and notify supervisor of any guest incidents.
Completes opening and closing side-work consistent with property expectations.
Provide the highest quality of service to guests at all times.
Perform all other duties deemed necessary by management.
