About The Position

Roofmart, Canada’s National distributor for Exterior Building Supply for Roofing, Siding, Metal and Building Envelope, is looking for Enthusiastic, Driven, Outside of the Box Thinkers to help grow their business. The Rooftop Loader will safely load bundles of shingles and related products to the roof and perform warehouse duties such as moving inventory, shipping and receiving.

Requirements

• Requires physical strength/stamina and the ability to work at heights.
• Ability to lift, push and carry 80-100lbs repeatedly
• Strong customer service skills
• Authorized to work in Canada

Nice To Haves

• Fall Protection/Working at Heights training
• Valid Forklift License
• Previous Warehouse and Forklift Experience
• Previous experience as a General Laborer/Laborer
• Previous experience as Warehouse Associate, Construction Helper, Manual Laborer would be beneficial
• Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Loading rooftops with bundles of shingles and related products
• Working closely and co-operatively with driver to ensure safe and efficient delivery of product
• Handling material by hand and with use of appropriate equipment
• Perform warehouse duties such as moving inventory, shipping, and receiving, when not on deliveries
• Maintaining clean and organized work environments in the store and yard
• Strictly adhering to and complying with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation
• Other duties as required
