About The Position
Crown Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking a dependable, experienced Roofing Service Technician for the Pompano Beach area. The position performs inspections, repairs, preventative maintenance, leak investigations, and service work on commercial and residential roofing systems. The technician should be safety-conscious and customer-focused, able to diagnose roofing problems, perform quality repairs, and work independently. The role is full-time and non-exempt.
Requirements
- Roofing experience is preferred; roofing service and repair experience is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial and residential roofing systems, materials, and repair techniques.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work safely at heights and in Florida weather conditions.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Satisfactory criminal background screening, consistent with applicable law.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and participate in the drug-free workplace program.
- Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose, and repair roofing issues, including leaks and storm damage.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on commercial and residential roofing systems.
- Troubleshoot and identify sources of roof leaks and other roofing problems.
- Document findings with photographs and detailed service reports.
- Communicate professionally with customers about findings, repairs, and recommendations.
- Load, unload, and transport materials and equipment to job sites.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Complete work orders accurately and on time.
- Assist with emergency service calls as needed.
