Roofing Service Leadman
About The Position
The Roofing Service Leadman is responsible for locating leaks and performing professional quality roof repairs in a safe and timely manner, while treating customers and fellow employees with courtesy and respect. Job duties also include the completion of defined scope projects and preventative maintenance activities. This role requires knowledge of all roof systems, making decisions on repairs, utilizing company apps and portals, managing customer communications and paperwork, and ensuring safety based on weather conditions. The Leadman will also communicate with General Contractors for larger projects and assist in the operation and maintenance of company equipment, ensuring trucks are stocked and clean. The position requires utilizing industry-standard manufacturer-approved repair techniques and completing daily assignments with proper paperwork.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
- Successful Pre-Employment Drug and Agility tests
- Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall
- Ability to lift 100 LBS or more
- Successful Background Check
- Ability to withstand demands of extreme weather conditions and high temperatures
- Capable of bending over most of the day and working on knees excessively throughout the day
- Able to pass a government background check per project requirements
- Knowledge of basic roofing tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Requires face-to-face discussions with individuals or teams, contact with others (face-to-face, by telephone, or otherwise)
- Includes exposure to contaminants.
- Requires working in very hot (above 90 F degrees) or very cold (below 32 F degrees) temperatures.
- Requires making decisions that impact the results of co-workers, clients or the company

Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, not required
- 5+ years of commercial roofing experience required
- Must have knowledge of all roof systems (B.U.R, Modified Bitumen, EPDM, TPO/PVC Membranes, Tile, Shingles, Coating, Metal Roof etc.)

- Completing daily assignments in a timely manner with proper paperwork.
