About The Position
MGC Roofing & Construction has immediate openings for Roofing Laborers to join their Service Department. This is an employee-owned company offering excellent pay for entry-level positions. Candidates will be required to have their own hand tools. The company offers health benefits, paid vacation, holidays, company stock, and bonuses.
Requirements
- Must have reliable transportation to get to work each day.
- Successful background check, pre-employment drug test, and physical.
- Must not be afraid of heights.
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work well with others and be team-oriented.
- Possess good judgment, attention to detail, and follow instructions.
Nice To Haves
- Computer and Smartphone skills are extremely helpful.
Responsibilities
- Assisting lead technician in locating leaks and performing roof repairs and maintenance on all roof systems including but not limited to cold applied BUR, torch applied Modified Bitumen, EPDM, Heat Welded TPO/PVC Membranes, Coatings, and slope (tile/shingles/metal).
- Assisting the lead technician in keeping a clean well-stocked truck.
- Maintain professional interaction with all customers and fellow employees.
- Be reliable, and dependable, show up on time, and adhere to our safety protocol.
