About The Position
Cable's Roofing is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Roofing Inspector to join their team in Tyler, Texas. This role involves assessing potential roof needs for residential and commercial properties using in-person evaluations and drone technology. The inspector will gather critical information, diagnose roof issues, and prepare for solutions, all while providing excellent customer service. The company is open to training individuals with no prior roofing experience who are looking to enter a high-demand trade.
Requirements
- Comfortable climbing roofs and/or operating drone equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Great communication and customer service abilities
- Tech-savvy (Microsoft Office and mobile inspection tools)
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Nice To Haves
- Roofing experience preferred (technical or estimating background)
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections using ladder or drone technology
- Identify and document roof issues (storm damage, wear, leaks, etc.)
- Take detailed photos, measurements, and notes for scope development
- Interpret insurance claims, scopes of work, and estimate needs (preferred)
- Track and report daily KPIs (inspections, leads, follow-ups, etc.)
- Maintain clear communication with sales and production teams
- Ensure a professional, customer-first approach in every interaction
