About The Position

Legacy Roofing is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Roofing Customer & Field Coordinator with previous roofing experience to join our team in Clearfield, Utah. This is not a traditional desk-only customer service position. This is a hands-on role that combines customer service, project coordination, and field work. You will work directly with homeowners after the sale and help ensure they have a great experience throughout the roofing process—from pre-construction through final project closeout. You will work out of our Legacy Roofing office in Clearfield while also spending time in the field visiting customers and active residential roofing projects.

Requirements

Previous roofing experience is required
Must be able to carry, set up, and safely use extension ladders
Must be able to access and walk residential roofs
Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Comfortable working outdoors in Utah weather conditions
Comfortable walking active residential construction sites
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and document property conditions
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable speaking directly with homeowners and handling questions or concerns professionally
Organized and capable of managing multiple active customers and projects
Comfortable using an iPad, smartphone, computer, CRM, email, text messaging, and jobsite photos
Ability to document information clearly and accurately
Dependable, punctual, and able to follow established processes
Comfortable discussing and collecting final customer balances

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for homeowners after the sale through project completion
Communicate project updates, scheduling information, and next steps to customers
Answer homeowner questions and help address concerns throughout the project
Coordinate customer needs and project details with our internal team
Follow up on outstanding items to make sure nothing falls through the cracks
Maintain accurate customer information, job notes, photos, and updates in our CRM
Help close out completed projects and collect final amounts due from customers
Meet homeowners at their properties for pre-construction appointments
Carry, set up, and safely use extension ladders
Access and walk residential roofs as part of regular job responsibilities
Review roofing projects in the field and confirm important job details
Walk and photograph properties to document existing conditions prior to construction
Identify and document potential concerns before work begins
Visit active residential jobsites as needed
Communicate field observations and important project information back to the internal team
