About The Position
The Roofer position is a permanent, full-time role within the Maintenance and Operations department, specifically in Building Maintenance. The role involves ensuring the integrity and upkeep of the district's roofing systems. The position is classified under Maintenance/Facilities and requires a commitment of 1.0 FTE, working 8 hours per day, 5 days a week, for 12 months a year (260 days/year). The work hours are Monday through Friday, from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Requirements
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship or on-the-job training program.
- Experience as a journeyman roofer.
- Possession of, or willingness and ability to obtain, a valid California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire or before driving any equipment/vehicle requiring this license.
