About The Position

This is a temporary full-time position for 20 Roof Helpers to join the Sure Steel, Inc. team. The role is crucial in assisting roofers with the installation of insulated metal panels, maintaining job site cleanliness, and ensuring safety. The position involves working in various weather conditions and at heights, with on-the-job training provided. Requirements

Must be comfortable working at heights and on ladders.
Ability to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Assist roofers by handling, supplying, or positioning materials and tools.
Perform light carpentry tasks in preparation for roofing work.
Prepare insulated metal panels & trims for installation by removing protective materials, applying caulking, and cutting as necessary.
Install fiberglass insulation before metal panel installation.
Remove waste and debris, keeping the worksite clean and safe.
Operate within temperature extremes, windy conditions, and at heights.
Safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs for 25 yards repeatedly throughout the workday.
Adhere to Sure Steel’s strict safety standards and protocols.
