As a Roof Loader, you will execute operations in stocking & preparing orders of building materials for distribution to a network of customers. Customer service and team-oriented focus are of utmost importance. Your work environment will consist mainly of outside work areas involving the delivery of customer orders. Each type of loading and unloading requires strict attention to safety and accuracy of orders. This position requires detailed work, producing repeatable and consistently accurate results.

Requirements

Must be able to lift 80-pound bundles on steep slopes
Must be able to walk bundles to be placed on different parts of a roof
Must be okay with heights up to 4 stories high
Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
Able to lift 40-80 pounds throughout the work day
Follow safety expectations set by the company's safety policies
Flexibility to work overtime hours as needed

Responsibilities

Efficiently & accurately organize building materials using a variety of equipment
Load and unload building materials and roofing supplies, distributing loads evenly across flat or sloped roofs
Follow the daily operations schedule, with an ability to adjust to customer needs
Works closely with management and other employees to complete daily tasks
Help to organize and clean both the warehouse and yard work areas
Attention to detail, with better-than-average accuracy in the quality of the work
Follow all applicable safety rules and procedures
