About The Position

Rose Roofing is seeking experienced Roof Installers for full-time, W-2 employment in Northern Virginia. We offer a competitive hourly wage, production bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and paid time off. We do not use subcontractors, ensuring all our installers are valued employees with steady paychecks and opportunities for overtime. Our installers can expect to earn between $70,000 and $83,000 annually, with a $1,000 new-hire bonus after 60 days. We provide year-round work and opportunities for growth within the company, with Team Leads promoted from within our install crews.

Requirements

Experience installing residential roofing (shingle experience required; metal a plus)
Confident with the tools of the trade — nail guns, roofing shovels, tin snips, and everything on your belt
Detail-oriented: straight lines, clean flashing, no callbacks
Basic math for measuring and material counts
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
Able to lift 50+ lbs, work at heights, and put in full days outdoors in Virginia weather
Available for occasional weekend work when weather pushes the schedule

Responsibilities

Tearing off old roofing systems and keeping the worksite clean
Installing complete roofing systems — underlayment, ice & water shield, ventilation, shingles, metal, and flashing — built to be watertight
Cutting and fitting materials around chimneys, vents, valleys, and walls
Sealing joints, penetrations, and nail heads for a leak-free finish
Setting up ladders, staging, and hoisting equipment the right way, every time
Working as a crew and keeping your Team Lead in the loop on progress and problems
