About The Position

Bonitz of Georgia is hiring a skilled Roof Decking Foreman. On a daily basis, you’ll lead a team through supervision, training and coaching to ensure the team delivers a quality roof decking system to the customer. You’ll also ensure that all equipment is in good working condition. The ideal candidate will have a strong background providing training, leadership, and fostering teamwork in construction projects with an emphasis on safety, quality and efficiency. Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in the commercial construction industry
  • Normal vision and hearing
  • Clean driving record (no DUI’s or super speed tickets in the last 5 years)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to travel
  • Potential candidates must be willing to submit to a preemployment drug screening to be considered for hire

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in concrete work preferred but not required
  • 30-hour OSHA certification helpful but not required. We will help you get your certifications

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the entire roof decking process and team
  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of assigned construction projects
  • Plan daily work goals to complete jobs on time while ensuring both efficiency and quality
  • Conduct on-site safety meetings and ensure all safety protocols are being followed
  • Supervise, train and coach crew members and subcontractors to ensure high-quality work and adherence to project specifications
  • Communicate with the superintendent and office support personnel to provide updates and address any issues or concerns
  • Ensure that all necessary equipment and tools are used in the proper manner and properly maintained
  • Maintain an accurate equipment & materials inventory
  • Maintain a work environment that adheres to all company and OSHA standards
  • Submit timely and accurate timesheets, expense reports, delivery tickets, etc.
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
