About The Position

Drives the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile Coach to and from designated worksites safely and on time. In collaboration with leaders, maintains coach safety checks and travel, fuel, and maintenance records required by DOT and Parkview regulations, and ensures coach maintenance is completed and up to date. Under the direction of the PPG leader, supports clerical functions for the coach in accordance with physician office practice to help ensure quality care. Interacts professionally with patients by obtaining demographic and financial information and greeting and processing patients efficiently, accurately, and in a friendly and timely manner. Delivers quality performance and service excellence and adheres to the PH Standards of Behavior.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Current Indiana Commercial Driver's License with air brakes and a valid DOT Driver’s Certificate, to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Previous work-related experience.
• Two years of clerical experience.
• Experience working with computers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of general computer skills and applications.
• Ability to multitask and work independently using critical thinking skills.
• Knowledge of preventive vehicle maintenance and scheduling.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Physician office experience.
• Experience driving buses or large vehicles.
• Medical terminology and/or coding experience.
• Patient registration experience.
